Yesterday

Another Spring is in the air.  It seems like only yesterday. The days are going by and the years are going by.  I lost my sister a few short weeks ago to brain cancer, a glioblastoma, and it has opened my eyes to how short and precious life is.  The seasons come and go, family and friends come and go.  Our beloved pets come and go, and it has brought me to the realization that if you don’t start doing what you love now, there may not be a tomorrow to do them.  I always see people post to forgive and make-up.  I don’t necessarily agree with that, because sometimes there are relationships that are too toxic to be a part of, whether friends or family.  My philosophy on that is do what makes you happy and productive.  Do what keeps you stress free, and do it with a song in your heart, because the bottom line is, you have to maintain your health and your mental health is a part of that.  Don’t ever feel guilty for anything you have done or not done in the past, that part is gone.  Embrace the future.  Embrace today, the here and now, and sleep happy my friends.
