Summer time

Here we are in the “dog days of summer.  It seems the time has gone very fast.  I have already started to notice the cool, crispness of the mornings, and the time is getting minutes shorter.  Before you know it, the kids will be back in school or heading off to college.  I don’t know if you have gone anywhere, but we are waiting until after Labor Day and driving up the east coast to Maine.  Our hotels are booked, the dogs are scheduled for boarding, and we have no itinerary.  We are just driving and will see what we see, a few historical sites, a few wineries.  Definitely looking for great places to stop and enjoy food.  It will be a very stress-free, sightseeing tour.  I’m looking forward to a cool getaway.  We are not “beach people.”  We like to drive and sight see, just enjoy the moment.  I hope you are enjoying your summer, whether it was a trip to the beach, or a summer doing day trips around the area.  Anyway, there are still a few good months left, and I hope you continue to have a great summer!
