Groundhog Day

GROUNDHOG DAY

Here are a few fun facts that I found out about ground hog day.  1.  Groundhogs peek out of their den to look for mates.  2.  The first groundhog was eaten shortly after the ceremony.  3.  Phil lives forever because of a strawberry smoothie, which is actually made from fruits, vegetables and strawberry Kool Aid.  4.  Nobody knows how many groundhogs have played Phil.  5.  Phil’s apartment is nicer than yours; this groundhog doesn’t even have to hibernate, as he lives in a posh climate- controlled den affixed to the Punxsutawney Public Library, where you can visit and see what he and the wife have done with the place.  6.  Finally, Phil has been wrong 55 percent of the time for 30 years.
